Can You Tell If Someone Is Smart By Looking At Their Eyes?

Can you tell if someone is smart by looking at their eyes? There is a common conception online that someone can have “smart eyes” and that you can tell if someone is smart by looking at their eyes. I fully believe this theory, as I know people that are extremely intelligent people that you can tell just by looking at their eyes and by having a conversation with them. You can also tell if someone is dumb by looking at their eyes, in that they tend to have something of a lazy, glazed type look when you’re talking to someone. Obviously this is not an exact science, and in fact this is probably more pseudoscience than anything, but my guess is that there is some truth to this. I can absolutely tell when I am having a conversation from someone, and by the look on their face, their handshake, their energy levels, and their eyes, I can say “this guy is a winner, and this guy is super intelligent.” I can also tell whether someone is a complete loser typically, and can tell if they are a moron after a quick conversation and after the look in their eyes when I tell them something. Can You Tell If Someone Is Smart By Looking At Their Eyes?

I would say that the answer is a resounding yes for this one, and that I would like to say I definitely have smart eyes myself. As the saying goes, the eyes are a window to a persons heart, I believe this is the same thing with regards to a persons brain.

Generally, I think you can tell by looking at someone’s eyes, as well as by having a conversation with someone, whether they are intelligent or not. Sometimes intelligent people just have this glow to them that radiates from their pupils and from the color of their eyes. I am thinking of Bradley Cooper on NZT in Limitless, or Scarlett Johansson from the movie Lucy. Smart people tend to have a certain look of alertness in their eyes that others don’t necessarily have. The full science on this however, is that it is mostly crap.
