Lindy Limitless, Why I Really Liked her Character As Eddie Morra’s Sexy Girlfriend!
My Lindy Limitless character review will go into full detail of the parts of Lindy’s character that I liked in the movie, namely the sex scenes between her and Eddie, some of the fights she has with the main character, and mainly, the part where she uses NZT to outrun her attacker in the movie. Lindy Limitless, My Full Character Review of Abbie Cornish as Lindy in Limitless
So, in short, Lindy, played by Abby Cornish, is hot, smart, sexy, and as tough as they come, she is the kind of girl that got away, the one that makes you want to become a better man, and the one that only goes for the winner man. May we all be so lucky as to get with a girl like her, but to do it, it’ll take money, looks, stamina, health, discipline, and quite possibly a huge supply of NZT48! No but seriously, what Gennady added to the film Limitless was a bad guy, a “dragon” for Eddie to slay, if you will, but Lindy added the role of “getting the girl,” to the movie, after slaying the dragon, a nice little victory for our hero Eddie Morra, a great ending for sure!
Why I Liked The Ending of Limitless Better Than The Dark Fields, It Is Less Grim and Somehow More Real
The Dark Fields ends by Eddie losing his $2,000,000.00 in the dot com bubble on some risky dot com stocks, having withdrawals from the MDT48 pill that he can no longer afford, and basically taking one last pill and finishing his book as he dies slowly in his apartment. He lost his money, he lost his girlfriend, he lost his glory and his job, and in the end, he lost his life. Limitless, has a much happier ending, and more or less puts challenges in front of our hero that Eddie is able to surpass, thus getting the money, the power, and the girl in the end.
Final Thoughts on My Lindy Limitless Character Review, Why I Thought the Movie Was Fantastic
Overall, I really liked Lindy as a character. She is basically the perfect woman for a man, and is the type of girl that you aspire to get but that most of us sadly fall oh so short of. Sadly I just discovered this film early this year, and to be completely candid, it fascinates me.
I’ve now read both novels in the series, watched the film countless times, and just finished the sadly short television series.
Lindy is a good character, and she’s pretty realistic in that she chooses Eddie when Eddie becomes a winner, and even though she kind of balks at the idea of enhanced Eddie’s alpha coming from a drug, she still seems to be willing to stay at the end of the film as most women would.
I like that part too! Lindy is like “alright I know he kind’ve cheated but…he still won so let’s go with the winner.”
Perfect display of hypergamy there!
