How to Avoid Boredom When Building an Affiliate Website?

How to avoid boredom when building an affiliate website? I have been writing affiliate blogs pretty religiously for the past 12 years or so now, and I must say that I have not found the true secret to this just yet. That being said, I do have quite a few strategies that you can use in order to just keep churning out content over and over again in order to beat your competitors, grow and monetize multiple affiliate blogs, and to have your own cash flowing affiliate website that provides income for a lifetime! Among some of the niche markets that I have built websites in include;

And some other one’s that I’m forgetting (lawn care and employment verification blogging, forgot about those), but my point is I have been doing this for a really, really, incredibly long time very consistently. And even when I get bored and move on to a new career field, I will say that I keep coming back to this over and over again, and once again I find myself having affiliate blogs that are cash flowing, maybe this is a game that I am destined to be in for life. Maybe that’s why after a 12 hour day of staring at tax returns, I return home alone to build up my online affiliate blogs, without a care in the world about it as I know that I am growing a sustainable online income source. And so, now you know my resume, let’s get cracking on what it really takes to build up these websites. Ironically, I am also writing this blog post as a way to not get bored with writing affiliate websites!

The Simple Truth of Building Up an Affiliate Blog That Cash Flows, And How You Can Avoid Getting Bored and Quitting While Doing So

I will say that building up affiliate websites is probably the most difficult thing that I have ever done in my entire life. At one point I was making almost six figures a year online but it was short lived. These days I make around $200 per month, but it is growing once again. I am growing this blog and I am acquiring affiliate websites as much as I can, and I can both see and feel the company starting to scale once again. After nearly a decade dormant in the internet world, we are making a comeback!

And so I think I’m just the guy to tell you how to do it, let me give you some quick tactics on how I stay motivated and am able to consistently crank out content, day after day, week after week, year after year.

  1. Commit to a number and stick to it – My goal for every single blog is 1, 1000 word article per day. I don’t always hit this, but I can get fairly close. Just one blog article per day over a span of years is definitely going to yield good results, that is 365 posts in a year, 1000 posts in 3 years. It is virtually impossible not to make money on a website with 1000 SEO optimized articles on it. Rinse and repeat with the same site or with new affiliate sites until you reach your desired income or net worth.
  2. I found one trick in writing in really small font – For instance, as I write this post right now I am in a word document writing at size 8 font. For some reason, if I’m ever having writers block I find that I can crank out 500 words or 1000 words pretty easily once I drop the font to size 8. My guess is that your eyes and your brain want to fill up the page with words, and so you write more and faster when you do this.
  3. Change topics, niche up, change blogs, try a social media channel – The overall goal to growing a website portfolio in order to expand your income, is to just keep churning out as much content as you possibly can. Whether it’s twitter, blog articles, new websites, Youtube, Linkedin, whatever it is, adding more and more content day after day is the recipe for success here. Oh yeah, that and just stay in the game for as long as you can.

How to Avoid Boredom When Building an Affiliate Website?

The simple key that I’ve found over time is to keep changing article topics or blogs when writing in order to keep just pumping out as much content as you possibly can. You definitely want quality in there as well, but at the end of the day it really is just a numbers game.
