Is There a Billions Season 7? How It Might Look With Mike Prince Running For President

As of right now, Showtime has not renewed Billions for a seventh season. However, that doesn’t mean that the show is definitely over. In fact, it’s still possible that the series could be picked up by another network or streaming service. So, fans should still hold out hope for a seventh season of Billions. Given what happened at the end of Season 6, with Mike Prince announcing his run for President of the United States in 2028, it definitely feels like there’s still more story to tell. And, considering how popular the show is, it’s hard to imagine that it would just end without any sort of resolution. So, fingers crossed that Billions does get renewed for another season. Do you want to see a seventh season of Billions? Good, because as a later amendment to this article, I have found that Billions has been renewed for Season 7, per an article published recently on Yahoo Finance. I am very glad to hear that this is the case in that I was really looking forward to seeing the Mike Prince Presidential run, and of how they show the power vs money dynamic in Season 7 of Billions. And so, in this article, I’ll answer the question of is there a Billions Season 7 coming to the fold.

Some new themes that I think they will address within the show are:

Is There A Billions Season 7?How Superpacs Work

The Power of Money in Politics

Lobbyists

A Prince Presidency

Entire Seasons About His Campaign and how Blind Trusts Work

What It looks Like With Him In The White House

What It Looks Like With Mike Prince Speaking

And so much more. They could absolutely turn this into a House of Cards level show, and turn the tide a little bit, keeping Billions going all the way through Season 10 and beyond.

Is Mike Prince Running For President Of the United States In Billions in 2020?

The short answer is no, Mike Prince (played by Corey Stoll) is not running for President of the United States in Billions. The reason for this is because the current season of Billions (Season 6) takes place in 2020, and the U.S. Presidential election does not take place until November 3rd, 2020.

In the show Billions, it looks like we are working with an accelerated timeline, meaning that it is around 2027 where we have Prince about to announce that he is a candidate for President of the United States. I have some interesting ideas on how the show might turn out, and on how they might turn this showing into more of a Machiavellian, House of Cards type TV show in comparison to the pure-finance we are used to seeing with the Bobby Axelrod Finance.

How I Think Billions Season 7 Will Go With Mike Prince Running For President

Here is my take on how Season 7 of Billions will go. Entry episode of the Season, we see Mike Prince announcing his Candidacy for President of The United States in 2028. From here, his campaign takes off, he needs to designate a successor for all of his companies, being Taylor Mason, and we see how all of his assets get put into a blind trust. We watch him have to fight in the Iowa caucus and with the campaign starting up in the primaries. The season ends with him as either President or Vice President, and eventually his reign over the White House, much like in House of Cards.
