Jonathan Sidwell Suits, What Is Jonathan Sidwell’s Net Worth in Suits
The Jonathan Sidwell Suits arc of the show. Personally, I found Jonathan Sidwell to be one of my favorite characters in the show, and he reminds me quite a bit of some current and former bosses that I have worked with in the field of Finance. A bit of a back story on Jonathan Sidwell, Sidwell originally first met Mike Ross when he retained Mike as council on a case he was working on. He used Mike to help him break his non-compete with Tony Giannopoulos so that he could leave and start his own Investment firm. Mike then got in trouble with Pearson Specter Litt, and he has to back-track on it, basically taking away what he originally gave him. He then did this again, before finally getting Sidwell out of his contract by telling him to go to Tony and say “hey I don’t want to work here anymore, release me from my contract” which worked, and which, under Mike’s logic “would have to work because who wants someone working for them that doesn’t want to be there?”
Needless to say, all of this stuff combined impressed Sidwell a fair bit. He ended up offering Mike Ross a job as an Investment Banker, and Mike started to think more and more about taking the position, since it would get him out of being a fraud, since he was not really an attorney. After mulling it over, he eventually took the job, and started his career as an Investment Banker. He lasted about 9 months and then ended up getting fired, and I will explain why later on in the article. But for now, let’s talk about Jonathan Sidwell. Jonathan Sidwell Suits, What Is The Net Worth and Background of Jonathan Sidwell?
Jonathan Sidwell has a background in Investment Banking and in Computer Programming, from the looks of it. This is a dangerous and scary combination, and it means that he has good social skills, can play politics and work his way up the ranks, but also that he is sharp as a tack. Harvey is smart, no doubt about it, but he is much more patient with mistakes with Mike, since he is a people skills type employee, versus someone like Sidwell, who is much more ruthless and does not have as much patience. This situation that Mike Ross is in right now actually reminds me a lot about my most recent job in corporate. I went from working at PSL with a fantastic relationship with my boss, to now what reminds me a lot of the Investment Banking firm, your hands are tied quite a bit. Hopefully I don’t get canned before I am able to hop like Mike Ross did.
Why Did Sidwell And Mike Clash
Sidwell essentially put Mike in an impossible situation, with very little help or communication on how to get past it. Mike had to margin an account in order to buy up shares in a company that he wanted Mike to get money out of, and Mike eventually had to go to shady billionaire Charles Forstman in order to get money to keep the gig going. Forstman messed with Mike and made him do something off the cuff in order to keep the money coming in. Sidwell found out, got mad at what Mike did, and the rest is history.
Jonathan Sidwell Personality Profile
Sidwell has a very interesting personality profile, in that with his computer programming background, I am going to say that he is much higher in openness than most other bankers would be. See below:
Openness – 90th percentile for Openness. He started his own company, makes bold moves, and is very much creative with his trading algorithm that he worked on for 10 years.
Conscientiousness – He is very hard working and in your face not afraid to go after what he wants. 90th percentile here.
IQ – 140 IQ. He built a trading algorithm from scratch and was smart enough to work in Investment Banking for decades, I think this fits.
Extroversion – Fairly outgoing, we don’t see him not socializing too much.
Agreeableness – 25th percentile for this. Very in your face and takes things somewhat personally, he’s even lower than Harvey in this respect, definitely much more disagreeable.
Neuroticism – He seemed like he was quite a bit worried about cash flow. I’d give him 30th percentile here.
Final Thoughts on My Jonathan Sidwell Suits Review, What is Sidwell’s Net Worth and Income?
And there you have it. In terms of money, I would say that before he started the company, Sidwell was making something like $400,000 per year working for Tony. Once he started his own firm, bump this up to $10,000,000 per year in annual revenue. Give him a net worth of $100,000,000.00 USD at the close of the show also for the position and type of industry he is in.
